You’re not lazy!

You just lack clarity.

The Daily Habit For Doers

"People are not lazy. They simply have impotent goals -- that is, goals that do not inspire them."

- Tony Robbins

You’re not lazy.

You lack clarity. Or you lack conviction.

You don’t want to row… because you don’t know where you’re rowing.

Or you don’t like where you’re going.

A lack of motivation comes from not knowing your destination… or not liking your destination.

Get clear on what you want and WHY you want it.

The motivation will come.

This Week’s Riddle

What is it that no one wants to have, but no one wants to lose either?

This Week’s Journaling Prompt

Begin by writing down a goal or task you've been procrastinating on or feel unmotivated to tackle. Below this, list your initial 'why'—the reason you believe you want to achieve this goal or complete this task. Then, challenge yourself to go deeper: ask 'why' again, exploring the underlying reasons for your first answer. Repeat this process, continually asking 'why' to each previous answer, until you've listed at least five layers of reasons.

Aim to reach the core motivation driving this goal or task. Reflect on how this newfound clarity might influence your approach and your motivation levels.

This Week’s Challenge

Choose a task you've been avoiding and set a 10-minute timer. During these 10 minutes, focus solely on this task, diving in without overthinking. This immediate action can break the cycle of procrastination and provide clarity on why the task felt daunting, helping you understand your resistance and potentially realign your approach based on this newfound insight.
