Yet happiness is elusive. Jaded by its antithesis shortly after arriving — melancholy about its end.
Excitement, though. That’s firm. You can grab the horns and ride against the wind. Driven by something you find spectacular.
Driven forward.
Excitement is a great synonym for happiness.
To be excited…
…is to be happy.
But it’s more than that.
It’s happiness accompanied by action, by positive expectations for the future and your role in it.
Don’t find what makes you happy. Find what makes you excited.
Thrilled. Motivated. Inspired.
