Systems, Not Goals
Goals set direction; systems create momentum. Focus on the engine, not the odometer.
“Losers have goals. Winners have systems.” — Scott Adams
Good Morning. A goal is a moment in time; a system is a process that generates moments indefinitely. If you fall in love with the reps, results chase you uninvited.
Systems reduce decision fatigue. You don’t ask “Will I write today?”—the clock hits 7 a.m. and the keyboard is already warm.
Iterate systems monthly; keep what works, discard what drags. Progress becomes automatic adaptation.
Today’s Challenge
Convert one goal into a daily or weekly ritual with a trigger, action, and reward.
