Catch your cravings
The Daily Habit For Doers
“It is easier to prevent bad habits than to break them”
– Benjamin Franklin
The secret to self-improvement is found in your cravings.
We often feel bad when we are an hour into scrolling social media, putting off important tasks or doing something you know you shouldn’t.
But fighting a bad habit is difficult.
Instead, try to catch the cravings as soon as they come up.
Your craving for instant gratification is usually always linked to an uncomfortable feeling within you: anxiety, stress, boredom, frustration.
Something’s going on there.
If you can catch the craving and figure out the underlying problem…then the bad habit usually resolves by itself.
You don’t have to fight it.
Work with your cravings and better habits will come naturally.
